Calling all ICDers 15+ and future changemakers!
Welcome to the ICD Youth Council. Through exciting events, creative programs and projects, our goal is inspiring and empowering our community to be the best that it can! Join us as we challenge and support each other to make diabetes an empowering force in our lives.

Is ICD’s Youth Council for ME?
I Challenge Diabetes’ Youth Council is for passionate young leaders, ages 15 – 30ish, who want to make a difference. Whether you’re living with type one diabetes or supporting someone who is, this is your chance to lead, advocate, and grow. Take on roles like event planning, mentoring, fundraising, or design, while building community and driving positive change.
What do I get out of it??
You’ll gain leadership experience, community service hours, networking opportunities, and personal growth – plus a whole bunch of new diabuddies! It’s a safe, supportive space to share your journey, build connections, and make a real impact in the diabetes community. You get out what you put in, and we’re here for every high and low along the way.
